Adobe Education Summit 2021

Once again, Adobe is holding their education summit as a remote conference and is open to anyone who wants to join in. There is normally a summit held for Adobe Education Leaders at various locations at this time of the year – San Jose, San Francisco, New York City… and last year would have been in Washington D.C. were is not for everything grinding to a standstill due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

So, last year was our first remote event… but it was expanded for anyone to be able to join in. Was it different? Absolutely! Taking an event normally reserved for about 80 individual AELs and expanding it to a general creative educator event is a big deal. It worked out really well though – and exposing more educators to these solutions is always a positive thing… though I do hope we get to all be back together in 2022 for a proper AEL event!

This all brings us to the fact that registration is now open for the Adobe for Education Summit coming up on July 28-29!

I’ll be speaking during the Adobe Education Leader pre-conference on two topics: “Moving from Animate to Augmented Reality with Aero” and “When Students are Exposed to Lesser-Utilized Design Tools“.

I’ll also be providing commentary for the second Exquisite Corpse collaboration and will be moderating some of the open discussions during the main conference. Specifically… “Insights Gained for Distance and Blended Learning“, “Connecting students to industry: leveraging virtual classroom visits, interviews with industry, and competitions“, and “Insights for teaching Adobe Premiere Rush and Premiere Pro“.
