I’ve Joined the University of Colorado Boulder

Following a successful and highly productive 16+ years working at the University of Denver, I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve accepted a faculty position at the University of Colorado Boulder teaching creativity and design through technology.

As faculty for the Department of Advertising, Public Relations and Media Design (APRD) within the College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI)… I’ll be filling the new role of Instructor of Technology which involves a huge focus on Adobe Creative Cloud tools and services. This is something I’ve been passionate about for years but have been unable to completely realize within my previous position.

CMCI is the first new college established on the CU Boulder campus in 53 years – opening in 2015 – so things are very new there and hold a great deal of growth potential! As faculty within APRD, I hope to also be able to contribute to the entire college as we all work toward a future filled with innovative ideas through the application of creative technology.

This move will only strengthen my existing ties within the Adobe Education Leader (AEL) and Adobe Partners by Design (PBD) programs as well. Working with students and faculty in expanding their skills in Adobe Creative Cloud and related toolsets is something I very much look forward to.

Considering my time with the University of Denver… I held a position within the Office of Teaching and Learning which often served as a cooperative hub between various departments on campus. This experience, alongside my previous role as adjunct faculty for DU, is sure to benefit the University of Colorado Boulder as well.

While I already miss my colleagues at DU – it was past time to move on to new experiences… and I can’t think of a better place to land than CU Boulder.
