Pulls relevant data feeds from the Adobe XML News Aggregator (AXNA) at http://feeds.adobe.com/ – an invaluable community resource. This data is distilled into smart categories and present to the user for easy perusal.
I’ve gotten a lot of great info from AXNA – and I’m sure many other souls have gained great knowledge from this resource as well. in creating a demonstration for an upcoming set of lessons on Flash Builder and Flex, I began to see the benefit of making this application available to the community at large.
I do plan on making the source for this available, and also to distribute the app to other platforms aside from Android. This is beta (a few hours work) – but it is a good start.

AXNA is pretty handy, though it only seems to return 15 results in each category. Is this deliberate?
Also, I noticed that you have incorporated the ‘Menu’ button (http://goo.gl/qu3TA). How is this done?

Yeah, I’m feeding the thing RSS generated from AXNA- so 15 is what comes back from the feed. There may be some way to increase it. I’d have to read over the AXNA FAQs or something and see. So… not exactly deliberate – just “how it works” right now.
I want to continue to emphasis that this is based on a demo set I was working on… so is still very much in “demo mode”. If people use it and like it though, I’m happy to tweak the thing based on user suggestions.
The menu is done through a Flex ViewMenu. You can see the spec over at http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/ViewMenu+Spec – it is a great addition to AIR mobile!
BTW: What device is that? Honeycomb OS, yeah? Tablet?
