Donations Incentive: Shudderflowers

To continue the donation incentives began by Elad Elrom and continued by Brian Connatser, I’m also adding an incentive for those who contribute to the 2010 RIA Beard Off for Toys for Tots.

Those who contribute donations of any amount in my name (@JosephLabrecque) will be entered into a random drawing to receive a copy of the album Shudderflowers by An Early Morning Letter, Displaced. I will be giving away 3 copies of the album, so if only 3 donations are made in my honor, each contributor will receive a copy. Anything beyond that contains an element of chance.

I’ll even sign the damn thing if you like!

DONATE to Toys for Tots via RIA Beard Off!

I’m participating in the 2010 RIA Beard Off for Toys for Tots, a charity event for members of the RIA community to grow beards and raise money for Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Donation amounts of $10 to $50 are accepted and we are actually almost half way to the goal of $2000. Would be great if we hit $5K – so please donate and mention my Twitter username @JosephLabrecque in your donation comment (because you know I’ll win)!

For participants like myself, we must update our Twitter avatars at least twice during the event which will be over on December 15th. I’ll probably update mine every day via various webcams and will catalog photos here every few days.

I’m going to end up very, very furry by mid-December. Make it worth my while and let’s raise money for some children in need this Christmas!

Donate to Cure Juvenile (Type-1) Diabetes

This is the first time posting something of this nature- I do so hoping that someone will stumble upon it and be moved to make a donation.

Tara and Mike of Lycia are participating in the JDRF’s Walk to Cure Diabetes on November 1st and it would be super if more people could make a donation in their name! Lycia was a huge inspiration for myself and many others and they are directly affected by this disease. Please help out if you are able!
