Adobe has announced that they plan, in cooperation with browser vendors, to end-of-life Flash Player in 2020. It is important to note a few things here… this is only in regard to Flash Player not AIR! The AIR team have some very cool stuff on the roadmap and AIR will continue on, regardless. PhoneGap Jumpstart

I’ve always found that getting started with PhoneGap if you hadn’t used it before (and sometimes even if you have) to be an exercise in frustration which even when it all goes well… takes some time and dedication.
