Fractured Vision Media, LLC serves a number of purposes for me but one of the most rewarding has been as a small record label. Over the years, I’ve been able to distribute a number of releases for An Early Morning Letter, Displaced and Shivervein… as well as a number of community based compilations.
The distribution providers I’ve used in the past though – have been a bit limiting… and honestly were focused more around physical CD distribution than our current environment of streaming music services. Due to these facts… I’ve made some changes with distribution partners which required pulling all of my old work from services like Spotify and iTunes in preparation for new distribution agreements and procedures.
At this time, I’m happy to say that my full catalog of releases under FVM have made their way back online and can now be readily accessed once again through services like Spotify, Apple Music, and more…
Additionally, bloodletshadows is getting its first release outside of Bandcamp! I’ve taken this opportunity to update the album cover with a redesigned Shivervein logo (from 2014!) that has never been used since it post-dated that release and I haven’t really produced anything under the Shivervein name since 2012. This has begun to change though… as I’ve been working on a number of tracks since mid-2020 and hope to have a new release in 2021.
I also have been participating in some other projects in this capacity – but will save that news for another post.
