If you’d like to get some more information on how this was put together, check out the following video which briefly demonstrates how advanced layers mode and the virtual camera in Animate CC was used to design this little animation:
Stay safe!
Hi Joseph, I just completed your Lynda.com Carousel tutorial. I was wondering if you could address how to stop the looping of the slideshow after a specified number of seconds

Thanks!

Hi Susan. Thanks for reaching out! I removed the code you placed in your comment.
What you’d likely do is employ the createjs ticker to to monitor how many seconds have elapsed and then just invoke the normal stop() control upon the timeline. The Lynda course project already has a ticker function built in – so you just need to check for a certain value and then stop the playhead if any timeline animation is present (and likely kill the ticker as well)
Thanks Joseph
But what if it stopped mid slide?
You can always monitor the current frame via:
https://www.createjs.com/docs/easeljs/classes/MovieClip.html#property_currentFrame
That will allow you to decide whether to stop or wait until the following iteration.
