Adobe Edge Preview 4 – Playback Actions

Adobe Edge is a new motion and interactivity tool from Adobe which can output rich, interactive compositions using standard web technologies like HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. I’ve recorded a small set of videos demonstrating some of the new features of Adobe Edge Preview 4 and present them here.

Joseph Labrecque demonstrates how to use Adobe Edge Preview 4 to create Symbol Playback Actions within an Edge composition timeline.

  1. Hi! Great video. I wished I watched this an hour ago. I’ve been trying to figure out how Playback Actions work and after watching your video I realized all I had to do was turn off Autoplay for the Symbol

  2. Cool!
Now i know what that button is for.
Also i wonder is there a easy way to add audios to a comp or button audio effects.
I think that for now is only posible in dreamweaver.
I have nice animated buttons and would like to add sound to them.
    Thks

    1. Edge itself doesn’t have audio integration in Preview 4 – there may be some other way of doing it but I don’t know what they might be. Would probably not be ideal at this time.
